At Harvest University, we are committed to providing access to quality higher education for all eligible students. Admission into any of our programs is based on academic qualifications, identification documentation, and other relevant criteria. Below are the general entry requirements for admission into our certificate, diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs.
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
Academic Qualifications
All applicants must have a minimum of five (5) credits or better, including Mathematics and English Language, in the Zambian General Certificate of Education (GCE), School Certificate, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) or the Higher Education Authority.
Identification Document
A valid National Registration Card (NRC) or Passport must be submitted as part of the application. International applicants must provide a valid passport.
Application Form
A completed application form must be submitted with all required attachments, including certified academic results, NRC/Passport copy, and passport-sized photographs.
In addition to the general entry requirements, applicants must have completed Grade 12 with the relevant subject combinations. Some health-related diploma programs may require a background in science subjects such as Biology and Chemistry.
Applicants must meet the general entry requirements and may be required to have specific subjects at credit level depending on the program. For example:
Bachelor of Science in Public Health: Science subjects are an added advantage.
Bachelor of Accountancy: A background in Mathematics or Accounting is recommended.
For admission into the Master of Theology or other postgraduate programs, applicants must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution. Supporting documents such as academic transcripts and a recommendation letter may also be required.
International students are welcome at Harvest University. In addition to meeting the academic entry requirements, international applicants must:
Provide certified academic documents equivalent to Zambian qualifications.
Submit a valid passport.
Meet any additional requirements set by the Ministry of Education or Immigration authorities in Zambia.
Meeting the minimum entry requirements does not guarantee automatic admission, as space in some programs may be limited.
Certain professional courses (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ZICA) may have specific requirements set by their respective professional bodies.
